Sainte Anne is a beautiful basilica located along the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. It is north of Quebec City and majestically sits on a hillside with overshadowing presence.

How I used this place of prayer
I was visiting Quebec City in the early fall and took a side tour north along the St. Lawrence River. On the trip north, I spotted the magnificent Shrine of Sainte Anne’s. It wasn’t until the return trip south that I ventured in to experience the beauty and holiness of the basilica cathedral. At the moment I parked, a friend called requesting prayer for a family concern. I entered the cathedral with this prayer concern and was surprised to be invited in through a side door by a charming elderly man who informed me that I would be having a fun time with Jesus as he ushered me inside. I took the stairwell up to the sanctuary where I discovered an afternoon service of music and scripture reading. Immediately, I kneeled and prayed, especially for the request I received as I entered the parking lot of Sainte Anne de Beaupre.
