Weekends are often busy times when we don’t have time for long formal prayers.  Here is a short weekend prayer based on the Bible verse in I Thessalonians 5:17 to set the stage for including God in on whatever you might be doing.

A Prayer for the Weekend

Heavenly Father,
Whether I am at work or at play,
sitting quietly alone or hanging out with others,
running errands or doing chores,
no matter what path I journey on with You this weekend,
May I walk in uninterrupted fellowship with You. Amen.
