On a visit to the ancient ruins of Ephesus in Turkey I repeated Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians while standing in the city where St. Paul walked and preached 2,000 years ago.  The prayer is in the Bible in a letter he wrote to the community of believers as found in Ephesians 3:16-21.  It contains some amazing petitions that we might know the profound depth of Christ’s love for us.  And it ends with an equally astonishing thought “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”  (Ephesians 3:20 NIV)
